  • All our reclaimed wood items are artisan crafted with care. Hand-made and hand-finished items are unique and no two are exactly alike. All wood of Curations Limited collection comes from reclaimed doors, buildings, and structures made of pine. The construction of the pieces include teon and glue as well as screws. Therefore, cracks, splintering and time-worn imperfections are normal and to be expected. Nicks, nail marks and imperfections speak of the wood's age and provenance. Cracks may be present and may cup or bow slightly over time, further enhancing their rustic one-of-a-kind character. Natural wax finish. Over time the wood will darken slightly and take on its own individual natural patina color.

  • The reclaimed wood items are purposely left unfinished and unsealed to celebrate the beauty of the wood. Additionally, over time the wood will darken slightly and take on its own individual patina. During normal daily use, dust with a feather duster or wipe the tabletop gently with mild soap and water after each meal. If splinters occur, lightly sand the affected area with #320 sandpaper. Use of coasters, placemats or other protection will help prevent marks or stains. To help prevent stains, apply mineral oil or furniture wax. However, please note that mineral oil and furniture wax will permanently alter the color of the wood. If stains occur, lightly sand the affected area with #320 sandpaper, or rub gently with a mild, diluted bleach solution.
